Gates..and more gates!

When we first moved to this house two years ago there were hardly any gates and we could run upstairs and downstairs and up the garden and down the garden and then...a gate appeared with a fence to stop us dogs getting into the vegetable plot :-(

Then last summer another gate appeared to stop us running into the borders and digging up the plants :-(

and then suddenly at the weekend another gate appeared to stop us chasing the cats upstairs and jumping on the beds when we're wet and muddy :-(

Where will it all end?

  1. We've tried everything to keep Freddie out of our gardens. Nothing has worked. Too bad for you, Alfie Cribb, Aoife and Caoimhe....but good for your human!! I love the first picture. I did one like that of Fred for tomorrows Wordless Wednesday. :)

  2. I know how you feel Magic - the vegie garden here got it's own fence and gate, and when my cousins come over gates pop up all over the place. The peeps said that it is enough to have one naughty (who me?) schnauzer barking at the fence, let all three doing it together....they are afraid of upsetting the neighbours - what about upsetting the schnauzers!!??!!

  9. Gates, gates, gates! Why do the human's think we need gates? Maybe you should learn to jump them, the way Rocket has learned to. We need to show those humans who's really boss!! ;)

  10. Every gate has a way to open. Bogey is a Houdini. I'll send him over to help you create an escape plan.
